You still don't know for sure that it is stolen. if you wanted to press it, you could tell the seller you think its stolen and are going to the police. Not sure of the relationship between the seller and the OP but the best thing would be to get the rifle back, and return the optic. chances are very high it was stolen, never saw a shop or a cop. To avoid oxidation, we recommend having us Cerakote the slide to preserve its integrity. When a slide is milled, the finish in the milled are is removed which exposes the raw steel.
